"As we reach the end of 2018, it's an appropriate time for us to look back on the year, share and celebrate our successes, and underscore our ongoing challenges," said Mayor Penrose. "We should all be excited and proud of everything we were able to accomplish this year - I look forward to having many community members join us for the State of the City."

Each year the Mayor presents Half Moon Bay's State of the City Address, as a means of engaging and sharing information with the community, maintaining a transparent style of government, and bringing people together as part of the partnerships which make for a successful community. The Address will be followed by refreshments, and attendees are encouraged to stay and enjoy conversations with their City Council members and fellow community members.
