Scheduling an Inspection
To schedule an inspection on a project with a current permit, call 726-8794.  Please be prepared to leave the following information on the voicemail:

• Permit Number
• Project Address
• Type of Inspection
• Contact Person's Name and Phone Number

Alternatively, you may schedule your inspection using the Inspection Request Online Form. 

Inspections should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.  Inspections are performed between the hours of:

• 9:00 am - 12:00 pm from Monday through Thursday
  
• 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Friday (Closed the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month)
  

Inspections are scheduled in the order they are received until all available inspection spots are filled.  To cancel or reschedule an inspection, please call (650) 726 - 8284.

Prior to scheduling a final inspection, obtain final approval from all other applicable departments.  Please make sure the following items are submitted to the Building Department:

• Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Handout (Residential Only)
• Construction and Demolition Recycling Form
• Sub-Contractor Business License Form (If Applicable)
