|4 Candidates to Appear on November 2012 Ballot|
At the November 6, 2012 Election, Half Moon Bay voters will elect two members to the City Council for a four-year term.
At the close of the nomination period, 4 candidates received sufficient nomination signatures and will appear on the November 2012 ballot:
Pursuant to California Election Code Section 13313 (a), candidate's statements of qualifications are available for public examination in the City Clerk's office at 501 Main Street until 5:00 p.m. on August 20, 2012.
During the 10-calendar-day public examination period provided by this section, any voter of the jurisdiction in which the election is being held, or the elections official, himself or herself, may seek a writ of mandate or an injunction requiring any or all of the material in the candidates statements to be amended or deleted. The writ of mandate or injunction request shall be filed no later than the end of the 10-calendar-day public examination period.
