Sewer Point Repair Project

The 2019 Sewer Point Repair Project is Underway!

Latest Update: 07-17-2019

Project Description: The Sewer Point Repair Program is an annual program designed to repair collection system pipe deficiencies identified by the City's sewer cleaning crews and Closed Circuit Television Inspection (CCTV). The 2019 Project primarily targets repair of sewer pipes at locations where high groundwater inflows into the collection system due to minor pipe deficiencies or pipe joint offsets. Repairing these "point" locations will help prevent Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSOs) and reduce sewer treatment plant costs. The 2019 project repairs 32 pipe deficiencies, located City-wide.

Project Status:

Construction has begun in the Grandview Subdivision                           Other construction locations planned for Summer 2019 include Kelly Avenue, Johnston Street, Monte Vista Avenue, Main Street, Saint Francis Beach Park, Kehoe Avenue, and Oak Street.
