Class Name: Beginning Ukulele (Ages 12+)

Instructor: Gregory Baurmann

Class Description: Have fun learning to play the Ukulele. The Ukulele is easy to play even if you are an absolute beginner. You will learn the basic chords, strums and techniques of this wonderful little instrument. We will learn to play both traditional and popular tunes. A lifetime of pleasure! 12-person max.

Class Fee: $65

Class Name: Ballroom Dance (Ages 18+)

Instructor: Gail Stevens

Class Description: Classic and enjoyable social ballroom dances are on the menu for Fall, 2019. The first session will begin with the Foxtrot, sprightly, progressive and universal in the 7:00pm class and the East Coast Swing, lively, rhythmical and can be danced to the same kind of Foxtrot music, in the 8:15pm class.

In November, we will enjoy the grace and beauty of the American Waltz in the 8:00pm class and then pick up the tempo and technique a bit for the Viennese Waltz from 8:15 - 9:15pm. Class Name: Beginning Hula (Ages 18+)

Instructor: Dominique Del Chiaro

Class Description: Hula is an integrated dance of poetry, rhythm, and movement using the dancer’s body for storytelling. This graceful, sensuous hula is a dance that helps trim the waistline, strengthen the back, and improve strength, flexibility, and balance. It is a low-impact form of dance and although disciplined, it is easy to have enjoyment and success with only a few lessons. In this class you’ll learn basic steps, chants, and full hula dances. Each class builds on prior classes and all classes include some repetition and review. No prior experience is required for Beginning Hula. Bring water, a pa’u skirt or sarong, and your Aloha spirit!
