Dog Training
PUPPY KINDERGARTEN:
Eligibility: Puppies 12 weeks to 6 months (for puppies outside of this range, younger or older at the start date, please contact Marian for eligibility questions). Young puppies must have had at least a veterinary health check plus 1st set of shots; older puppies must have 2nd set and/or completion of vaccine regime. All puppies must exhibit good health before coming to each class.
Each week we’ll discuss matters pertaining to puppies: feeding, eating habits, housebreaking, crate/confinement, bite inhibition, exercise, play, destruction, etc. Training skills will involve human and canine socialization, sit, down, stays, proper leash walking, recall, leave-it, off, hand signals, all at your pup’s developmental level.
Since your dog will come to EACH class, please contact the instructor prior to the start date if you have any concerns regarding fear/aggression. Contact Marian with any questions regarding minor children assisting at the Beginner level. Please clean up after your dog should it potty in the vicinity. Contact Instructor Marian Pott for any questions regarding classes, dog behavior, training philosophy. Call 650-888-7445 or Email: miramark9@comcast.net
PLEASE DON’T COME TO YOUR CLASS IF YOU’RE FEELING ILL FOR ANY REASON. Because of social distancing, we’re asking that only 1 or 2 family members accompany each dog. Adult—children should be age 13/up, but please contact Marian if you have any questions about minors. Dogs do better with attention with less family distraction. Please don’t bring your puppy or dog if it is exhibiting any signs of illness: vomiting, lethargy, injury, diarrhea. You may come without your dog in such cases.
Class Fee: $195 per puppy
Class Day: Wednesday
Times: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
