What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a fun and energetic racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis! Two, three, or four players use paddles to hit a ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features with other racquet sports, including the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis with a few modifications. Our Drop-In schedule is best for players who are familiar with the rules of pickleball and have some experience playing. Instructional or "Introduction to Pickleball" classes will be offered through the Recreation Department Fall 2023.
