UPDATED September 29, 2017
As part of the Half Moon Bay Underground Utility District (UUD), the overhead utility lines near the new Library are going underground, offering a great improvement to the aesthetics of the neighborhood. This work includes street trenching which will cause periodic traffic delays, and in late October will require the temporary closure of Correas Street.
The City apologizes for the additional noise, disruption, and traffic delays that this activity may cause, and appreciates the patience of neighbors, motorists, and pedestrians. All are urged to use extra caution when driving, biking, or walking in the area.
If you have specific special needs, please feel free to discuss them with either of the following:

It is best to avoid this area if possible - but when in the area, motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians are encouraged to use extra caution. The City apologizes for any additional noise or disruption that this activity may cause - we're working to minimize the impact the construction has on neighboring properties, and the community - we appreciate everyone's patience!
